शशी दिवसधूसरो गलितयौवना कामिनीसरो विगतवारिजं मुखमनक्षरं स्वाकृतेः ।प्रभुर्धनपरायणः सततदुर्गतः सज्जनोनृपाङ्गणगतः खलो मनसि सप्त शल्यानि मे ॥४५॥śaśī divasadhūsaro galitayauvanā kāminīsaro vigatavārijaṃ mukhamanakṣaraṃ svākṛteḥ |prabhurdhanaparāyaṇaḥ satatadurgataḥ sajjanonṛpāṅgaṇagataḥ khalo manasi sapta śalyāni me ||45||
Translation
(THE SEVEN SPEARS)
The luster-less moon of the day; the beloved who has lost her youth; the lake without lotuses; the uneducated look of the handsome man; the master who is greedy for money; a good man suffering continuously; a cheat who has gained the favor of the king; these are the seven spears wounding my heart! ॥ 45 ॥
