सम्पत्सु महतां चित्तं भवत्युत्पलकोमलम् ।आपत्सु च महाशैलशिलासङ्घातकर्कशम् ॥५५॥sampatsu mahatāṃ cittaṃ bhavatyutpalakomalam |āpatsu ca mahāśailaśilāsaṅghātakarkaśam ||55||
Translation
(THE QUALITIES OF GOOD MEN- V)
When prosperity is there, the minds of the noble will be soft like the lotus; (no arrogance or self-conceit); (but) when difficulties are there, they will be as hard as the heap of stones of a great mountain. (will not swerve from the path of nobility) ॥ 55 ॥
