रत्नैर्महार्हैस्तुतुषुर्न देवान भेजिरे भीमविषेण भीतिम् ।सुधां विना न प्रययुर्विरामंन निश्चितार्थाद्विरमन्ति धीराः ॥७१॥ratnairmahārhaistutuṣurna devāna bhejire bhīmaviṣeṇa bhītim |sudhāṃ vinā na prayayurvirāmaṃna niścitārthādviramanti dhīrāḥ ||71||
Translation
(NO DIVERSION FROM THE GOAL THAT IS TO BE ACHIEVED)
The gods were not satisfied by the (ordinary) precious gems inside the great milk ocean. They did not fear the terrible poison. They did not rest till they got the nectar (of immortality). Brave men do not swerve from their ascertained goals (because of desires or fear of failure). ॥ 71 ॥
