छिन्नोऽपि रोहति तरुश्चन्द्रः क्षीणोऽपि वर्धते लोके ।इति विमृशन्तः सन्तः सन्तप्यन्ते न लोकेऽस्मिन् ॥७९॥chinno'pi rohati taruścandraḥ kṣīṇo'pi vardhate loke |iti vimṛśantaḥ santaḥ santapyante na loke'smin ||79||
Translation
(WHAT IF EVERYONE DISCARDS ME, I WILL RISE UP AGAIN!)
Even if cut off, the tree grows back again. The moon grows back again to become complete, even if he wanes for the first half of the month. Understanding this factor, the noble ones do not become anxious (and give up their ambition) if people turn away from them (and oppose their noble ventures). ॥ 79 ॥
