Translation
Aha! Those ‘men of wisdom’, whose intellects are purified by the ‘Knowledge of the Self’ perform a nearly impossible task indeed; for, they entertain no desires and completely renounce all riches which provide the objects of enjoyment. We the ignorant are not capable of renouncing even those (thoughts of) objects just desired by us and not obtainable for certain also, in the past or present or even in the future. ॥ 13 ॥
