स जातः कोऽप्यासीन्मदनरिपुणा मूर्ध्ने धवलंकपालं यस्योच्चैर्विनिहतमलंकारविधये ।नृभिः प्राणत्राणप्रवणमतिभिः कैश्चिदधुनानमद्भिः कः पुम्सामयमतुलदर्पज्वरभ्ररः ॥६०॥sa jātaḥ ko'pyāsīnmadanaripuṇā mūrdhne dhavalaṃkapālaṃ yasyoccairvinihatamalaṃkāravidhaye |nṛbhiḥ prāṇatrāṇapravaṇamatibhiḥ kaiścidadhunānamadbhiḥ kaḥ pumsāmayamatuladarpajvarabhraraḥ ||60||
Translation
He alone is worthy of being born as a man whose white skull gets the highest place by getting worn on the head as an ornament by the destroyer of Manmatha (Shiva). Why then this high fever of arrogance has infected these men by getting saluted by men for that moment only, who are intent on preserving only their lives for now? ॥ 60 ॥
