यावत्स्थितमिदं शरीरमरुजं यावज्जरा दूरतोयावच्चेन्द्रियशक्तिरप्रतिहता यावत्क्षयो नायुषः ।आत्मश्रेयसि तावदेव विदुषा कार्यः प्रयत्नो महान्सन्दीप्ते भवने तु कूपखननं प्रत्युद्यमः कीदृशः ॥७५॥yāvatsthitamidaṃ śarīramarujaṃ yāvajjarā dūratoyāvaccendriyaśaktirapratihatā yāvatkṣayo nāyuṣaḥ |ātmaśreyasi tāvadeva viduṣā kāryaḥ prayatno mahānsandīpte bhavane tu kūpakhananaṃ pratyudyamaḥ kīdṛśaḥ ||75||
Translation
Only when the body is freed of diseases, only when the old age is still long way off, only when the strength of the sense organs has not diminished, only when the life-span has not reduced, then itself, great effort has to be made by the wise man towards the welfare of the Self. How can one start planning the digging of a well, when the house is afire? ॥ 75 ॥
