एते सत्पुरुषाः परार्थघटकाः स्वार्थं परित्यज्य येसामान्यास्तु परार्थमुद्यमभृतः स्वार्थाविरोधेन ये ।तेऽमी मानवराक्षसाः परहितं स्वार्थाय विघ्नन्ति येये विघ्नन्ति निरर्थकं परहितं ते के न जानीमहे ॥६४॥ete satpuruṣāḥ parārthaghaṭakāḥ svārthaṃ parityajya yesāmānyāstu parārthamudyamabhṛtaḥ svārthāvirodhena ye |te'mī mānavarākṣasāḥ parahitaṃ svārthāya vighnanti yeye vighnanti nirarthakaṃ parahitaṃ te ke na jānīmahe ||64||
Translation
(`THREE + ONE' TYPES OF MEN)
These are the good men who keep away their own projects and help others to achieve their goals. (Saatvic/unselfish)(no pretense) Whereas these are the ordinary people who appear to do things for others having their own benefit in the mind. (Raajasic/selfish)(pretense) And these other human shaped demons bring harm to others for their own good. (Taamasic/selfish and mean-minded)(cruel and rude) But we do not actually know, what are these human shaped creatures who harm others for no purpose at all!? (worse than animals also)(sadistic and wicked) ॥ 64 ॥
