स्मृता भवति तापाय हृष्टा चोन्मादकारिणीस्पृष्टा भवति मोहाय सा नाम दयिता कथम् ॥४२॥smṛtā bhavati tāpāya hṛṣṭā conmādakāriṇīspṛṣṭā bhavati mohāya sā nāma dayitā katham ||42||
Translation
If remembered, she burns (by the fire of separation). If seen, she makes one insane (by happiness). If touched (embraced), she deludes (with the entire world forgotten). What is this thing called ‘woman’! ॥ 42 ॥
