शास्त्रज्ञोऽपि प्रगुणितनयोऽप्यात्तबोधोऽपि बाढंसंसारेऽस्मिन्भवति विरलो भाजनं सद्गतीनांयेनैतस्मिन्निरयनगरद्वारमुद्घाटयन्तीवामाक्षीणां भवति कुटिला भूलता कुञ्चिकेव ॥७७॥śāstrajño'pi praguṇitanayo'pyāttabodho'pi bāḍhaṃsaṃsāre'sminbhavati viralo bhājanaṃ sadgatīnāṃyenaitasminnirayanagaradvāramudghāṭayantīvāmākṣīṇāṃ bhavati kuṭilā bhūlatā kuñcikeva ||77||
Translation
Though well-versed in all the scriptures, though specialized in the science of law and ethics, though learned to a high extent, very few become qualified enough to reach higher worlds in this world; because, the crooked ‘eye-brow creeper’ of the ‘pretty eyed damsels’ acts as the key unlocking the ‘door of the hells’ in Yama’s world. ॥ 77 ॥
