Translation

The learning fit for the pious which would subdue the opponents arguing in a debate was not accomplished. Our fame did not reach the heavens by breaking the forehead of the elephant by the edge of the swords. The honey in the tender bud like lips of the women was not drunk. Alas! The youthful time of life has passed away wastefully like a light lit in an empty house. ॥ 46 ॥
