स्फुरत्स्फारज्योत्स्नासधवलिततले क्वापि पुलिनेसुखासीनाः शान्तध्वनिषु रजनीषु द्युसरितः ।भवाभोगोद्विग्नाः शिव शिवशिवेत्युच्चवचसःकदा यास्यामोऽन्तर्गतबहुलबाष्पाकुलदशाम् ८५ ॥८५॥sphuratsphārajyotsnāsadhavalitatale kvāpi pulinesukhāsīnāḥ śāntadhvaniṣu rajanīṣu dyusaritaḥ |bhavābhogodvignāḥ śiva śivaśivetyuccavacasaḥkadā yāsyāmo'ntargatabahulabāṣpākuladaśām 85 ||85||
Translation
Seated comfortably in some sandy region on the ‘banks of the celestial river (Ganges)’ which is whitened by the abundant moon light shining forth, at nights, with all the sounds silenced, feeling distressed by the experiences of the mundane existence, crying loudly ‘Shiva’ ‘Shiva’ when will we reach the state of profuse flow of tears (of joy) held within. ॥ 85 ॥
