चण्डालः किमयं द्विजातिरथवा शूद्रोऽथ किं तापसःकिं वा तत्त्वविवेकपेशलमतिर्योगीश्वरः कोऽपि किम् ।इत्युत्पन्नविकल्पजल्पमुखरैराभाष्यमाणा जनैःन क्रुद्धाः पथि नैव तुष्टमनसो यान्ति स्वयं योगिनः ॥९६॥caṇḍālaḥ kimayaṃ dvijātirathavā śūdro'tha kiṃ tāpasaḥkiṃ vā tattvavivekapeśalamatiryogīśvaraḥ ko'pi kim |ityutpannavikalpajalpamukharairābhāṣyamāṇā janaiḥna kruddhāḥ pathi naiva tuṣṭamanaso yānti svayaṃ yoginaḥ ||96||
Translation
Is this person a Chaandaala or a Brahmin or a Shoodra or a man of penance? Or is he some great Yogi absorbed in the analysis of the Reality? As the people doubtfully discuss in their conversations on the road, these yogis move away silently neither feeling angry nor feeling happy. ॥ 96 ॥
