Translation

Move away my friend, from this ‘woman-serpent’ which has charms as hoods; which shoots poisonous fire glancing side-ways; and is naturally crooked in the heart. A person bit by other snakes can be saved by treating him with medicines. But even those who know the magical cures for serpent-bites discard the man caught by the shrewd woman (as incurable)! ॥ 52 ॥
